Had to get the artic cat going today. This weekend my neighbor's son is having his sons brithday party here and those kids want to run snowmobiles in the snow. So I told him I would help him out and get them going since they haven't been touched since last year except my yamaha.

This artic cat was already running good so I took it out with my 95 and it ran great. It is slow compared to the 600 yamaha.

There are still two on the trailer I need to get down and see what they need. One is going to need more work than the other. I will mess with those tomorrow. Tomorrow we will get 2-3 inches so fresh powder to tear up.

The guy isn't the smartest. He bought a dodge dually for a "family car".....then it starts nickle and diming him so he sells it and buys that. I guess it's a GT...or at least that's what the decal on the side claims. I realize people do it...but why on earth would one buy a RWD car as their only mode of daily transportation in Northeast Indiana? Mind you we just got 5"+ of snow and ice, the day he brought it home. I think I would have thought twice about that purchase.

Yeah a little crusty but I'm interested in the sensors. As you know it's not a bad idea to have a backup iac or tps lol. The maf could be the real money saver one day though.

Eric... It's not about making up for anything.

Danielle.. you are probably right there. Cycling is no joke. I hooked Myfitnesspal to fitbit and now logging food is quick and easy.

I hit the gym this morning. Did a bit more walking around, gave blood. Time to sit at my desk and pretend to be busy.

Yeah..I'm serious about dropping this 30 lbs

Talk to me about the fitbit. One of the girls last night a polar? heart monitor with watch deal that did calories too.
I don't always have my phone with me while working out so having one I can sync to phone would be nice.

Any opinions or tips for looking for such a thing?

I have a polar heart rate monitor as well. Thing that sucks is it doesn't sync to my phone. I need to get an app to do that. Got it while I was doing Insanity and wanted to make sure I wasn't going to stroke out from it. (I believe it's possible..that crap is insane) So to me the polar is a pain..until I find the right app because I have the monitor that will work on low voltage bluetooth. (Polar RS300)

The fitbit. My company gave us pedometers and held some of our medical premiums on us. So .... we walk and do all sorts of other crap on company time to meet the goal they set for us to get the money back. I had two of the big bulky had to connect via cable each day company pedometers die and I hated that thing. Looked extensively at various other ones. Fitbit seemed to be the best pedometer out there. Fitbit would also talk to the work application automatically and it also sync's itself automatically whenever it has the chance. Nice looking app for the phone. Then I researched which fitbit was right for me. Came down to the Flex (bracelet, kinda ugly and can cause rashes) or the One (little pellet with clip). I got the one. Toss it in your pocket, clip to bra (my other half finds this method works great) etc etc. It's very accurate for walking.. pretty accurate on elliptical and machine of death. Fitbit allows you to log food as well. I start to do this one night and stopped because it seemed harder than MyFitnessPal.

MyFitnessPal: it's a food intake app and also will track exercise. When I went to use this.. it said "let's talk to fitbit" and then fitbit wanted to talk to myfitnesspal. Now I'm all hooked up. MFP will allow you to scan barcodes on food to enter it. Blip and you are logged. Search and find whatever you want.. boom logged.

With the two hooked together I'm 100% automatic on Fitbit for exercise, MyFitnessPal for food. They both know exactly what I have done for both. All I should do now is find an app that will record my heart rate and talk to fitbit/myfitnesspal, then I'm 100% covered.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I take that back. The RS300 comes with the H1 monitor, which will not connect to my phone/apps. I just ordered the H7 because it's $2 more than the H6. Gimme the Caddy baby! Friday I will be in fully monitored, all out, baller status.

The H1 does talk to gym equipment that has the display on it. It's kinda neat because you never have to grab the handles for the machine to monitor you.

Thank you for that. I started comparing the 2 and I see what you mean about the polar one. I'm actually leaning towards the fitbit flex now I think. I really like the syncing part and I can start using MFP again too.

Read up further on the Flex... I found that it wasn't very accurate (also a friend told me it logged way less steps). And then...the rash. I even saw that on CNN.

So, a couple weeks ago the neighbor lady buys an '06 Trailblazer. It didn't come with remotes, so she get's one off Amazon, and asks me to try programming it. I say, "Sure!" After about a dozen failed attempts following the instructions verbatim, I gave up. Decided to do a little more research. Looking at the RPO codes in the glovebox, somethings not making sense... According to my very limited knowledge of RPO codes, remote functions are like an AU5 or AU8 or some other "AU" value. She had no AU codes. Hmm.

I shoot the VIN over to my connection at the dealer so he can run a check. His response surprised me. "No remote function installed."

I was really surprised. In 2006, GM produced a vehicle that had no remote entry option. What surprised me even more is that someone bought it! Lesson learned; when shopping used vehicles, never just assume the PO had, then lost the remotes. Take some time and Google the RPO codes!

Its not pretty by any means, but not to bad for my first time ever using a snow blower and not knowing how to do it....

Lee told me not to that he'd get it after work....but I didn't listen obviously. Figured I might as well learn how to with no one around to yell at me.

Snowblowers are fun to use, unless its windy and you get covered in snow.

Not too bad? Looks pretty good lol. How much snow did you have? Usually when we have 5+ inches, my snowblowing doesn't look nearly as clean as that. I just fly through it and the little lines of snow that get pushed out of the auger can be shoveled later, or left if I'm doing the street. Around 4, not much gets pushed out and it usually ends up looking just like that.

I think it was about 3". It took me a few rounds to figure out to work from one side to the other. And to turn the chute...that helps a lot too lol.
