The puns are unreal
Anyone else like a good green text story? I saved so many of these tonight I've never cried laughing so much.

These ****ing people shout be shot on site. Lets riot and cause hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage in protest. This just makes them look as bad or worse then the situation they are protesting. I'd be happy if most of the people protesting didn't live. My two cents.........
This lady was just trying to do her job and she gets pelted by rocks? Real mature.......
Or we could round up these ignorant asshats and drop them in the middle east and tell them they have to fight. See how they like it. Right or wrong the police officer took an oath to serve and protect not only the public, but himself. If he was indeed attacked and he felt his life was in danger, then the aggressor needed to be subdued. Lethal for or not.......it is what it is. Lets move on people. There are so many things in this country that outweigh the "possible injustice" that happened in that town. There are children starving, homeless, abused taking their own lives everyday that we could focus this energy towards. People are self-centered and only care about "me". Take a moment and look up how many children are living in half-way homes, foster homes or on the streets in your area.
It's time to grow up America. We are failing on so many levels it hurts. Wake up!
Oh my god, screw working retail black Friday. I wanted to knock out almost every person.
We had someone cut in line and I thought we were gonna have to boot her from the store. our GM was like "you can go to the back of the line, leave, or ask the people in front of you if its okay to cut.:
So she screamed that the people asking if its okay, and they said yes probably to save themselves being yelled at more.
Near the end of my shift the front end manager asked me if i wanted to stay. LOL NOPE, it hit 12 i punched out and went to the breakroom where they had a huge potluck ate about 3 plates of food and went home.
Just thought I'd post these.

Replaced the mercury lamp on my uncles garage with a newer lower wattage sodium lamp. I got to keep the old broken one. Needs a bulb and photocell, got both for about $20. Its a 175 watt lamp.
All of the wiring is falling apart, the insulation is just cracking off. So I decided to rewire the whole thing, and with thicker wire. Now just to wait for the bulb and photocell, and it will be a working lamp. Think I'll keep it til I move out or something lol. I like these lamps. There were wire nuts tying two connections together, I just soldered the wires since the wire nuts corroded. Heck all the connections did. Cleaned and used dielectric grease.
That wire I'm holding is a previous live wire that feeds the ballast. Insulation fell right off.

now set up a grow room man. lol
and clean that bulb, then dont touch it with bare hands again. or it will blow up.
Those should be alright, that glass dome is more of a protecting dome for the small halide lamp in the middle. I'll make sure the new one is clean though, that's the burned out one lol.
its the oil on your hands, left on the bulb it gets hot and cracks the bulb. seen it happen. the new bulb should have a warning on it.
i just take it from the cardboard sleeve and screw it in with a paper towel.
Yeah. I can use rubbing alcohol and a clean paper towel if I need to. There was a guy on the reviews for these bulbs that said his dome shattered on its own one night but still worked lol.
Bad news though, turns out it is the ballast that's bad, didn't look it over good enough. I was especially fooled because I was getting 120 volts at the bulb holder. Turns out those ballasts have two coils that are not in series like I thought. Both are on the same core. One coil is used just for the bulb power feed, its in series with the bulb basically(and is good) Now the other coil goes straight to 120v on its own...that one is burned up just enough at a hard to see place. Ran a few windings of my own and patched it in, the bulb fires and runs. But the 120v coil is damaged beyond repair, more than a couple windings are shorted to each other and it gets real hot real fast. Dang.
I'll see if a new ballast is worth it. I'll make sure the old one goes up in flames due to its own fault.
I think I have to fix it, I spent a bit of time cleaning it up.

Lol, they shouldn't have to worry, it's no big deal. He was a good kid!
I can't believe that whole story got so blown out of proportion given the circumstances.
why? its happened before, it will happen again. kid was a damn thief. he got what he deserved for sure.
one reporter nailed it so good. some jack ass was trying to make a point that the cop was over the line, blah blah blah bs on top of bs, she says let me ask you this. if he had not robbed the store, would he be alive right now? the asshole refused to answer the question lol
