Electricity doesn't like me. I've been shocked more times than I'd care to remember.

Boy I've had my share of that looking up at a circle of people going "Are you OK?"! And I don't even drink. Haven't been shocked bad but I have had my bell rung and have over-tried substances lol.

Heres a new one for ya, appliance related. Getting ready for work one morning a few years ago, and the central air kicks on first time that day and quits. Lights do a little brownage and I hear a zap out back. No fire. I shut down the breaker and split, outta time. Come to find out, this snake had gotten into this compartment in the outside unit (yes, its supoosed to be sealed but I never had that apart, see the wire hole? Cozy, eh?) and laid across the big contacts for the capacitor or whatever. The big ones. When the thermostat hit, snake smoke and A/C unit blown. Been on window units since then, that was like five years ago but I can still smell the burnt snake in the backyard on a hot day. Yes of course I scraped it out of the A/C and chunked it. Talk about some eew.

I think the worst electrical hit I ever took was off the coil pack on my TSI.

Long story short, I raced a Cobalt SS (smoked it) and in the process the car started running like ****. Stopped to checked wires. Left the car running and when I went to grab the wire to make sure it was seated on the coil pack I found out the hard way that the wire had actually burnt off at the coil pack and WHAM!!! I saw stars, my entire arm hurt and I got an instant headache.

My brother was with me when this went down and he looked at me and was just like, "You get hit?" I painfully nodded. "You okay." I shrugged.

worst zap i ever got was in a old rickels bath room ( im dating my self again, rickels is long gone ) used to be a hardware store. more like the first home depot really.

any how, im walking out, left elbow touched the hand drier as i grabbed the metal door and door knob, and it was on!!!!! i was stuck to the drier and the door. and just made all sorts of fed up sounds lol right across from the bath room was the break room, 3 employees on break looking at me like in nuts. im like in case you didnt notice i was just electrocuted.

My friend Mike likes to tell the story of a buddy who's engine wouldn't shut off so he reached for the MSD wire before anyone could say anything... ZOT! Instant fro.

Know another guy who was throttle whipping a dirt car in the pits, leaning over the fender and pinging like eight grand with a flex fan. You guessed it- fan slung a blade and durn near sheared off his arm at the shoulder. Never stand in line with moving pulleys!

ive heard of flex fans failing in the past, never saw one let go. with how much those pos fans actually move, im surprised to dont hear about more people getting hurt from them.

i never liked the way they sounded either. every one else in towns like cool, flex fan. im like yeah, soooooooo gay. most modded cars ran hot with them too. put the clutch fan back on lol

Thats the collective understanding where I hang out- clutch fan, std duty clutch. OE for the specific vehicle if possible. Anything else mechanical sounds like a dump truck to me. GM wouldn't have sold many cars if clutch fans weren't reliable and effective, would they.

Did you northerners ever lick a 9 volt battery just for kicks? Uh-huh. I bet ya jumped off the roof of the house too (when the snow is deep, of course). Drank from the water hose, etc. I lol'ed when you said dating yourself a few posts back. That phrase has a dual context ha ha. If I could run across the beach into my own arms, I would. Thats a jackie quote off the 70s show. BTW I forgot to thank whoever posted the hot Donna screenshots. Nice. Not what you imagine but they never quite are!

9 volt battery , check. hose water check never did the jump off the roof into snow, ( to smart) but many roof jumps into pools. one was a 12 foot leap from only 10 feet up. we just cleared the edge by a 2 feet.

used to jump off my garage roof into my pool, that ended when dad was vacuuming the pool out ( he was a roofer) and figured out what all the little hard specs were at the bottom of the pool real fast lol yup the granules off the shingles. we got busted at the other friends house too. we had to go out a bath room window, we left wet foot prints on the roof, his mom saw them and was like one way foot prints!!!!!! oh no you dont!!!

anyone else ever have to shave a cat? im brushing my moms cat. its 18 years old btw lol and i notice a matted spot. well off it came lol



hes gonna look funny for a while. long hair cats. pppfffttttt.

funny part was he was sacred to death of the clippers when i started, by the end he was purring. i guess he could feel the relief as the hair came off. im really surprised his skins not red and sore. good for him.

why your dog have flea's? fix that for her.

well she been dead now for a 12 years but when she was alive whoa them fleas were everywhere. what happened scotty is were lived in a small place and had tall grass so fleas were every where and all over the house. To make matter worse the whole block was like that as well. We tried everything but there wasnt anything strong enough to kill all the fleas in a 10 mile radius

10 years ago frontline came out, or that other one heart something, they keep fleas off your pet and even kill the eggs. aka make your dog not taste so good, fleas, flea. lol your house, well that would have been bug bomb time.

last thing id ever want is to be eaten by them little f ers. they suck.

scotty we did try eveything nothing worked. we used flea powered in the carpets and every flea repelant on the market and still the fleas got to her. we even had a cone on her to help stop her from biting but nothing worked. we had a shih tzu.

i grew up with miniature poodles and a weimaraner. my mom used to breed them all. we had 3 generations of poodles too she kept one from each litter for a while. the first mom, the second mom from the first litter, then she kept one of the male pups. 4 dogs running around full time.

she says they kept me in school cloths growing up. the sale of the pups that is. she even got lucky once and got one of them apricot poodles. rare and worth 2 grand way back in the day. worth even more today. all her dogs also lived 15 plus years, ( one made it to 21 that we know of) she had a good blood line going. the weim pups were 400 each back in the 70's. )had 6 pips) she only breed our weim one time. the poodles only had 2 litters each, its like she knew even way back then to not breed the day lights out of the dogs.

to many dog breaders are causing to many health problems in dogs. soon there wont be a healthy dog alive that needs some kind of meds or special attention

That's why mutts are best. My brother's dog is going on 16 and still bounces around like a damn puppy. He can't hear for sh!t, but he still won't sit still.

my weimaraner i had. (my dog) lived to 12, had a brain tumor. ( the vet was like its a shame, hes in great shape) he looked and acted like he was 5 still. heres the thing. labs like most large dogs, all the long play time is out of them by 2 years old. not a weim. (hunting dog) he would go all day and night.

one reason he got ran 2 to 3 times a day till he quit bringing the ball back lol tired dogs are good dogs.

Our golden doodle is like that shes like 7 or 8 but even after he had 2 golf ball sized cysts removed she was running around happy as can be. Nothing makes that dog sad
