Yikes! THAT will get your attention, won't it? I woulda freaked smooth out. Those things migrate right over my place too honk honk.
I don't swerve for anything smaller than a fox no reason too.

I hit a bird or a bat once with my gp, it was getting dark and I was doing 70 on the van dyke freeway, I was keeping a good eye out for deer when I heard a loud thud on the windshield, I kinda saw a dark colored blur lol. I don't think whatever it was survived it. And depending where I'm at I don't swerve for birds/squirrels/rabbits, etc. either.
I did about crap myself. Luckily, a mile before it happened I decided to shut the sunroof. If I hadn't I'm pretty sure he would have joined me inside. You could see where he skidded across the glass. It scared me to death. Hit something that big going 60. I'd never seen one up close and personal....they are very very very large and solid birds. I felt bad, I think I killed him...so now his mate is all alone.
This was a few years ago...back in 08. I had only had the G6 about a month at that point, lost it to the body shop for 3 weeks. That was fun making my first 2 payments on a car I wasn't even driving.
Everyone found it funny immediately after it happened. It took me a couple days to find the humor in it.
I've hit my fair share of deer. One day I hit something different, well it hit me. I was driving past an area highly populated in deer and all of a sudden THWACK! A pheasant flew right into the driver's windshield post on my Stealth. Thankfully I had my windows up, though had it been a millisecond slower it would have flown into the window and possibly shattered it.
Well, I don't know, but I've been told you never slow down, you never grow old I'm tired of screwin' up, tired of going down tired of myself, tired of this town oh, my my, oh, hell yes honey, put on that party dress
I killed a black cat last year going up north on a county road doing like 35-40.
Also smacked a duck 2 years ago coming home from somewhere, were in the road and flew up late and clipped it where the A pillar meets the roof on the passenger side. Left a smudge on the windshield, pretty sure it popped him up higher and he into the woods.
So quick back-story. When I played little league I was a magnet to getting hit by the damn ball. I probably had more than 3 times the HBP than any other kid in the league. Anyway my nephew is 7 and still in coach pitch league, however he has been asked to fill in a few games here and there in the "kid pitch" league when needed. My brother calls me about 10:00 and says, "So J.J. got on base in the kid pitch game." Then he calls my nephew over to the phone and my brother tells him to tell me what happened. J.J. said, "The pitcher hit me with the ball."
I LOLed and told him he was taking after his Uncle Brian.
