Here is one of my guns. I love this one! I have several 1911's... a couple Kimbers a couple Colts, a Ruger, Les Baer, a S&W and a Sig. This one is my favorites...I know that sounds nuts with the list of guns I have ,but, this is the one I take to tournaments. Its a Remington 1911 Enhanced.

I am a laser technician and decided to add the skull and spade as I am a former Army Ranger. It is not exactly correct for our emblem, but, I liked it nonetheless. I engraved it with one of our lasers. Then Duracoated the gun. As far as modifications go, I dropped the extraction port .100", polished the ramp and barrel, trigger job, tightened frame and slide up, some other polishing is special areas. Still using factory sites.

This next pic is my results at the range. This is at EXACTLY 15 yards. Not the " walked off....looks like 15 yards to me ". There are 32 shots fired into that target. The first 16 rounds were me shooting a casual pace..... about 1.5-2 second intervals. All 16 rounds went into the bulls eye. The remaining shots that you see walked onto the left side of the target are me shooting as fast as I possibly can. What causes this walk to most right handed shooters when you are shooting that fast is you start to bury your finger deeper into the trigger......which causes you to pull left. The first one or two shots went into the bulls eye on that round as well.

Last weekend we had some fun at my farm with 20lbs of Tannerite. Had multiple items to go bye bye... including this lovely full size double door fridge.

    https://db.tt/vzxM6wxu

That was equalivant to ~5lbs of it.

Also got my 870 parts back from being waterdipped.

We had no idea just how big it was gonna be... we figured blow the doors off. Well we were all behind our pickups, and the '95 GP and yeah. We had it all piled up, but I forgot to take a photo. I actually just read that some guy in the NE coast put 100lbs of that in a dump truck. Wasn't supposed to be around firearms... much less shooting that ****. They said the shockwave was felt 5 miles away. Definitely some wicked stuff.

BTW that engraving is actually pretty damn neat. I like how it came out nice and clean.

Thanks, yeah.....I am fortunate at my job to access to the lasers whenever I want them....so I get to do some neat stuff.

As far as the tannerite.......I don't think it will be too long before it is banned or forced to be so watered down......it would take 20 pounds to get a "poof"....just because guys like the one with the dump truck.
