I knew ASCD didnt exactly exist like they did before Rex passed away. I forgot who the comp that took over was, thanks for reminding me. I was really wishing Stinger would make that hood. Or atleast someone out there make a cowl hood. Gues I can keep dreaming

I recently had an idea for customizing my stock hood. If I play my cards right, with parts and labor it should cost me less than the PFYC Inferno hood.

I'm keeping the idea a secret until I make sure I have my hands on the necessary materials, and know for sure that it'll work. After that, I'll clue everybody in.

Why not just make a V6 faster?

I got mine for $300 when I hit a deer, then insurance reimbursed me the cost of the parts new since I supplied the hood and I got over $450 back. State Farm FTW!

Since an idea similar to mine was brought up in another post, I've decided to let the cat out of the bag. Look at the fourth post in this thread.... http://www.grandprixforums.net/f14/j...good-8163.html

I like the idea but if it were me I'd flip the scoops so the openings were towards the front of the hood IMO...but I like the idea man pretty sick
