Things like that happen without a slipper clutch.
And a wheel coming off at 30mph sucks. Wheel nut came off and stripped out my wheel.

if you'd seen the carnage i put my traxxas nitro stampede through.

ive melted spur gears, stripped the teeth off spur gears, killed clutch bell sprocket teeth, killed clutches too. killed the little mesk hit friction things i the spur gear, A arms snapped off all the time, rear plastic drive shafts busted worse than his lol

then there was the coffee cup full of blown pistons, rods and sleeves i burned up.

then this one time.....it got ran over. i should have just bought a new truck, but i rebuilt it with as many upgraded parts i could within reason.

DUDE WHEN THE **** ARE YOU GOING TO UNDERSTAND THAT ECX IS NOT CHINESE YOU STUPID ****ING PRICK. ECX vehicles are more durable than anything else in the same price range so eat a ****ing dick.
I broke one a arm while trying to record video and drive at the same time and ran into a landscaping timber that was sticking out of the ground at full speed. What RC's a arm wouldn't have broke?
I broke a drive shaft because I had my slipper clutch too tight and was driving in grass. Again any RC this would have caused some sort of damage.

Oh no I have broken 2 parts in the past 3 months must be cheep................ I have put well over 30 packs through this truck and that is all that has broke.
Maybe you need to get caught back up in the world of RC, even the "cheep Chinese" stuff is decent now days, and buying Traxxas or Associated all you are paying for is a name. Its like going to the store and buying the General Mills Honey Nut Cheerios instead of the Malt O Meal Honey Nut Spinners, its the same ****ing **** all you are paying for is the name.
And btw Tamiya makes **** RCs anymore it's all overpriced kiddy ****. Who the **** in their right mind would buy this ****? http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...ssing%20Data** About the only thing they make that even looks remotely decent is the Blackfoot. But who is going to pay $270 for a brushed 2wd MT? The Super Clod Buster is way overpriced considering its basically a roller with motors in it.

Seems Losi is having a huge sale on their gas powered stuff. I'm thinking the 8ight-T truggy can't go wrong with a 1/8 scale gas rc. http://www.horizonhobby.com/storefronts/stores/losi-price-cuts?clickpath=Specials_rotator3_10262015
And Cory you know you want the 1/5th scale Mini Cooper.

-Edit- And they are all gone.

I just picked up a Traxxas Stampede for $45. This thing is a lot smaller than the Ruckus.
