Yeah current model is $450, and I am guessing the kit will be about the same price.( Nice to see Traxxas doing kits again, and a build to drive kit at that.) And add on another $50-60 for the body, then I'm sure the lift kit will be another $50-60.
They also have another body coming out looks pretty sick.

It would be cheaper to just buy a carbon fiber one off eBay.

Got in some new parts a few weeks ago.

Rpm dirt guards and Hot Racing motor mount installed.

Had to modify the body a little bit to get the rear shock tower to fit. The new shock tower was designed for the Kraton and Talion that has an exposed rear shock tower and it is 5mm taller than the stock shock tower. They added more shock mount positions to the tower.

I want to get a chassis protector, the vinyl did not hold up very well lol.

    I want one of these.

I need to order batteries for both of ours, but keep forgetting, such gayness. I got my cv axles so I am 4x4 now, but the boys is still stuck in 2wd, gonna have to find shafts that fit.

Ordered 2 front axles and a 8.4v battery for the boy. Got some 3500kv brushless setups comming for the twin detonator, going to need misc parts for that setup and then figure out the battery configuration I want.

Man so many rc companies gone and so many sites are gone also, such craziness.

Sweet what setup did you go with? And did you save the diagram I posted a few pages back on how to wire everything up?

Yeah I know, I'll be reading through an old thread on something and someone will mention a part and how great it is, then upon searching for the company I find out they went out of business years ago :/

Turnigy trackstar 3520kv, looks like it should have more bump than my current 15T motors. It already cruises, so this should keep me satisfied for a offroad rig that tends to break every time I drive it.

Turnigy makes some good stuff, I know lots of guys who run the motors, escs, servos, chargers and radios. I want the TrackStar D-Spec TS4G radio.

Hobbyking has some great deals on a lot of stuff. Right now they have the ARR Basher Berserker 1/8 Truggy on sale for $179.16 Basher SaberTooth 1/8 Scale Truggy (ARR)

Well it only took 9 years but Traxxas finally updated the E-Revo.
    Traxxas E-Revo

Redesigned transmission with center diff and something called cush drive
    New suspension arms
    Redesigned bulkheads
    New Axle carriers
Thicker motor plate with predrilled holes for different sized pinions.
    New larger Talion EXT tires
    New Velineon VXL-6 power system.
    XMaxx style body mounting system.

Looks sexy, but the price those things go for HA!

I upgraded the boys rc from a 7.2 to a 8.4 and put in a metal axle so its 4x4 again, bad thing from ordering from a no namer is its so dam hard to get replacement parts, the dogbone is from some other rc and I had to do some grinding both ways to get it to even fit and its STILL tight. 96.4mm as the replacement length my ASS. My twin brushless comes in the mail today, not sure when I will install as 5 weeks or so I will be going on vacation and would like to bring the rc's with and as of right now mine DOES work and I would like to not chance that in time!
