I was there, and it was amazing the number of people that showed up to keep those assholes away. Both at the church where services were held and at the burial site. Musta been 2-300 bikers alone, not to memtion the rest of us. We got a nice wave from the family that made it all worth it. You could just tell how much they appreciated the support.
have heard conflicting reports, cops told me they didn't have permits to protest and would be arrested on site if they showed, then we heard that happened over at the church. But have read other reports it was some of the gay rights people's acting a fool and got arrested. I can't find any credible evidence cause we had a media blackout per the families request. We saw channel 4 news van roll up and we about swarmed them, but a cop went over and told them to GTFO!
