I do not agree with the government helping lazy people so much. I live in small town Iowa so there is cheap housing and we have many people move to the apartments her with government funding. Now we are in the top 10 cities in the US for meth. As honest working americans help pay for food and housing for them. I am not saying everyone on welfare is worthless there are many honest people who have had a hard time and need a little help and I am fine with that. When people take advantage of the system and just reap the benefits it makes me extremely angry. I have older friends 30s-40s who work for a food store in town and watch people pay for food with their food stamps and then drive away in a escalde how does that work? Also note they were buying steaks,chips,pop and other comfort type foods with the card.

I totally agree with you. Abby works for a very large child care facility. It makes her sick day in and day out when these parents come and swipe there card for gov't child care and they drive new cars and have there nails done. Its BS, i'm paying for that **** and it pisses me off. Theres so many people out there who need to be completely cut off gov't help its not even funny. The people who really need the help don't get it. If something happens to me whos gonna help me? No one, i'm screwed. I work very hard for what I have and I have for years. I can support myself, why do I need to support others who are most likely lazy and won't help themselves?

As for which party i'm for, i've been for either or in the past i'm not for one single party.

For all the talk of welfare, you can't blame children for the fault of the parents. I would happily pay for health care for CHILDREN until they are 18, when they are adults. I get "well baby" and "well child" visits for my kids covered by insurance, no deductable when they go for those appointments. Why? Because a child annually check to be health REMAINS healthy and develops good health habits later in life, thus reducing costs for everyone. As bad as it is with folks taking kids to child care on the government's dime, at least the child is getting decent care for 8 hours a day, one good meal, etc., instead of staying in filth all day.
