I rarely cook anymore but love to do it and wish i'd pick it back up. I took Foods in highschool my soph and junior year and loved it. It's also the class where I met my wife! That was 3-4 years ago and it's been a while since i've actually cooked anything out of the ordinary. I argue i'm a better cook than her even though I was always second in the class to her food. I say it was because she baby sat the teachers children is why she always won!!

i enjoy eating good food, so i've learned to throw some dishes together.

i'd like to be an executive chef on a yacht, that'd be awesome.

    I make a MEAN pizza.

I love to cook, i think its fun to learn from my dad about ways to cook or grill the meats to make it taste good with the seasoning.

My mom also has some good recipes that I might put up on here for baked goods and such.

PLEASE post up some recipes for stuff. I like to cook, but I can never think of anything so I always end up eating mac and cheese or spaghetti.

If any of it tastes good AND is good for you, that would be a bonus.

this is yummy as all hell if you like artichokes and cheese
we make it for family get togethers and partys

    1 loaf of French bread
    3 cups cheddar cheese (shredded)
3 cups Monterey jack chasse (shredded)
1 stock of butter pr margarine
    Garlic salt to taste
16 oz. container of sour cream
    2 jars of artichoke hearts
    1 cup parmesan cheese
Scoop the entire inside of the bread out. Then melt a stick of butter in a big pot, then add the bread insides, garlic salt and parmesan cheese. Mix then pour in into a bowl then add the shredded Monterey jack, sour cream, artichoke hearts to the bread mix. Then take all of it and mix until fully mixed, when done put in the mix on the shell and top with the shredded cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 mins. Last 5 mins put on broiled for toasty-ness
*when scooping out the bread make sure you make a shell with the crust.

This is a awesome steak recipe'

    1 1/2 cups balsamic vinegar
    3 tablespoons sugar
    2 tablespoons butter
1 whole tritip roast, broil or bbq untill mid-rare (any steak you like will work)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
2-4 ounces soft fresh goat cheese

Boil the balsamic vinegar and sugar in a heavy small saucepan over medium-high heat until reduced to 1/3 cup, stirring occasionally, about 18 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat the broiler. Melt the butter in a heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle the Tri-tip with salt and pepper. Cook the steaks to desired doneness. Transfer the tritip to a cuting board let rest 10 min covered in foil, Slice triti into steaks 1-11/2" thick arange on cookie sheet. Crumble the cheese over the steaks and broil just until the cheese melts, about 1 minute. Sprinkle with pepper.
Transfer the steaks to plates. Drizzle the balsamic sauce around the steaks and serve.

I love to grill. Hamburgers, steaks, brats. Oh yes i am a brat man. This past summer i was in northern MN on lake superior at my fiance's cabin, and i grilled this amazing lemon chicken. I don't have an exact recipe or anything, i usually just wing it when im grilling, but its pretty easy to do. Just melt some butter, and then add a bunch of lemon juice (preferably squeezed from real lemons) and then just brush on the chicken as it cooks. The tinfoil behind the chicken was some seasoned potatoes. Also beer is usually a must when grilling.
