    Decent BBQ place?

Adam Richman from MvF was in Anchorage when I was living up there and packed the house at the restaurant he went to. He ate 3 pounds of king crab legs, 12 ounces of reindeer sausage, seven 2-ounce wild Alaskan salmon cakes, 6 ounces of sour-cream-and-chive mashed potatoes, 6 ounces of assorted sautéed vegetables, and for dessert, mixed berry crisp (served Ã* la mode).

Dunno how he hasnt died of a massive heart attack yet.

That sounds like a killer meal... though I'd probably have to split that into two meals so I didn't pass out with the itis.

That reindeer sausage is no joke! Just a few pieces of it and you're full. Nevermind 12oz!

I can't speak for others, but for me personally, I like simple dishes. Pasta with a good sauce and some veggies or something added in. Chicken dishes. Something easy... haha.

Some of the best dipping sauce I use. It's from a resturaunt chain in Columbus area called Raising Canes. All they sell is chicken strips, fries, slaw, and garlic toast. With their dipping sauce.

You can dip anything in the sauce and it's amazing. I'm a fan of french fries dipped in it buts anythings good.

    3/4 c. Mayo (Kraft)
    1/4 c. Ketchup (Heinz)
    5 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
    1/4 tsp. Garlic powder

Now for the toughest part of all. You have to let it sit for 24 hours so all the flavors can meld together. I just make it in a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap and throw it in the fridge.
    No More GTP for me.

I think I'll make that tonight and make some chicken for tomorrow. Ooh, anyone have an oven-baked french fry recipe? yeah, I relize that you can probably just dice up some potatoes, coat them with olive oil, salt, pepper, and call it a day, but I want to know what you guys have got.

Also, I just remembered. Local bar gives out free popcorn at 11pm. We call it crack-corn. Plain, unbuttered popcorn coated in hot olive oil that has salt, pepper, and rosemary blended in. Slammin'.

A local brew pub makes french fries with a recipe pretty much like this..

    Baked French Fries I Recipe - Allrecipes.com

    They're excellent.

My favorite dish that they come with is a nice thick ribeye sitting in a puddle of rosemary gravy.
