I would have called it anything but the same name as the sh*t box LT1. backwards a$$ coolant and sh*t.

And if GM makes a twin turbo v6 corvette, the heritage is over. corvette is the top of the line. GM is litterally done and the fact that the 3800 is gone is bad too. It is just like the 87 GNX. GM outdid themselves and was like oh sh*t make it go away because it makes us less money. 3800 bulletproof. GNX faster than the C4.

LT4 with spray and a cam can run 10's.

    Pretty **** right?

They have already established what the base engine is.

Why is anyone even thinking about a V6?

Well a few weeks ago some of you were crying about it. People like to jump to conclusions.

I don't think they'll ever put a boosted 6 in a Vette. Just for heritage reasons.

So long as corvette exists a V8 will at least be an option. I'm not to worried about it. Even twin turbo V6s deliver serious horsepower and torque.

There are some advantages to a reversed cooling system, that's one reason why LT1s love nitrous

a reverse flow cooling system is the right way to do it, and optispark is an incredibly accurate ignition system. that LT1 ran circles around what ford had at the time and still remains relevant today.
and the 3800 in the w-body's isn't even close to the 3.8's in the GN's and T-Types.
if GM decides they want to build a TT V6 engine, I hope they're not dumb enough to do it with the 3.6 engine they're throwing in everything right now. that engine is nowhere near durable enough for boost. we've already put timing chains in every last traverse/acadia/outlook, thrown high pressure fuel pumps and injectors in a bunch of them, reasealed front covers and done plenty of water pumps. boost would blow that motor into pieces
99 GT - top swapped, S2X cam. - sadly, sold
    96 Firebird Formula - T-tops and exhaust leak. 14.26 @ 97.8 - sold
2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS - stock, in all of it's turbocharged awesomeness

    trust.

gm has worse issues to worry about than everything you mentioned.

in the SRX, in one year only, you could get the 2.8 Turbo. And boy did it suck. It even chucked rods due to idiots running 87 octane and beating on it.

    Go team america.
