a reverse flow cooling system is the right way to do it, and optispark is an incredibly accurate ignition system. that LT1 ran circles around what ford had at the time and still remains relevant today.
and the 3800 in the w-body's isn't even close to the 3.8's in the GN's and T-Types.
if GM decides they want to build a TT V6 engine, I hope they're not dumb enough to do it with the 3.6 engine they're throwing in everything right now. that engine is nowhere near durable enough for boost. we've already put timing chains in every last traverse/acadia/outlook, thrown high pressure fuel pumps and injectors in a bunch of them, reasealed front covers and done plenty of water pumps. boost would blow that motor into pieces
