Ive always wanted a Trans am, i just absolutely love those cars but way to expensive to buy for me. Finally i have a chance to get a 1994 red trans am with the 5.7 LT1. Zero rust, New tires, black rims. Want to trade straight up for my Grand Prix. Has an exhaust system because i took it for a test drive and it sounds mean as hell. Sounds so good. has 134k miles, no rust, 3 paint chips on front bumper, drives and shifts perfect, could use a little TLC on the interior but not to bad. Whats your thoughts, should i do it?

    Trans Am *Price Lowered*

Why would you want an lt1 car or a gtp?

    Lt1 is fugly and slow.

    Gtp is super slow.

Lt1 is faster, and the sound of a v8 is unbeatable.

A turd gen 305 with a cam is faster than a bolt on gp.

So that makes anything that is faster worth modding?

I'm not made of money, i'm 19 and going to college and work for $10 an hour. I can't just buy anything, so having an lt1, wouldn't be a bad gig for me. I don't have the money to mod either cars right now, I just love the roar from a v8.

I would love an ls1, trust me.

BUT I can't afford it, that's the problem.

    I'd take a L67 over a LT1 any day.

Unless it was in a good condition '96 Impala SS.

    2. Its faster stock for stock

I think we're all glossing over the most important point here....if you make $10/hr, you have no business owning a LT1/LS1/Performance oriented V8.

    Not with $3-5 gas.

I love my grand prix since I put alot of money into it but I like changes.

Plus, like I said, this sound from the v8 is amazing. Such a deep rumble.

And its faster stock to stock like already stated.

    The one bad, SNOW.
