I'm very much in love with how it looks, inside and out.

Pontiac couldn't do much about the GTO because it's based off the Holden Monaro. They were only allowed so many sheet metal changes for it to still be produced in the same factory. Same thing with the G8 based off the Holden Commodore.
I agree, when it sits next to a 69 I think they are close. I rarely dissagree with Scotty, but I think GM hit it on the nose with this one. It looks aggressive and resembles the late 60s Camaro.
As for the school zone driving, I cant fnd one vid of anyone opening up the car and getting on it. I think GM is building suspense intenionally. From what i read on testing this car is going to destroy the Mustang and Challenger. The Camaro has a 50/50 weight distribution, plus a true independent rear suspension. That being said on a road course the Mustang will be lucky to stay in sight of the camaro. I've also read some crazy 1/4 numbers stock and with a few bolt on. For the price its gonna be one heck of a car. bang for your buck. Even if you only get the V6 version, it tops 300HP. Thats sweet
