Joe,
Allstate deals with Stearling because they own them. It's a good shop but just know that you can take your car to ANY bodyshop to have it repaired. They can not tell you where to take your car. If you have a check, don't cash it, give it to Stearling when you pick up the car. If you cash it it may cause you to loose your rights to any suplimental pay outs do to damage they did not see when doing an inspection. I can say that the estimate seems very low, estimators write only what they see and don't look for hidden damage. This is the way they are trained, they hope you will just take the check and not get the car fixed. This saves them a ton of money. Good luck and make sure that panels get blended so you get a good color match.
not sure of how much damage as far as cost it varies by state... what i did when someone hit my old gpgt i got insurance check for like 2300 took it to a friend of mine he fixed all damage and painted the car candy sunburst orange blacked out door jambs under hood and trunk for less than the check![]()
