Everything's easy on a wbody.
I changed my oil once... It was super hard!
The car being ANY car I've worked on? LT1 header install with limited tools. Epic failage.
WBody...most anything is simple...but I have to say...I hate the power steering pump.
Hardest thing i've done so far was headers but there weren't that bad.
Fine, since noone else wants to troll with me...
I'd say my cam was the hardest thing I've done to my GP, only because it was time consuimg and when I went to put my timing chain on, it kept moving a couple degrees on me. I still wouldn't call any part of it "hard".
Completely agree. A lot of it's just time consuming, and that coupled with my lack of patience makes for a good time. I've done engine rebuilds, engine and tranny swaps, top swaps, cam installs and a lot of times just want it to be over already. My least favorite though is replacing the oil pan gasket... seems like so little gets accomplished for so much work. Feels so unrewarding, much like what I hear sex with bluegtp91 is like.
Hardest thing I've done was get the f-ing dorman sway bar to fit.
I would have expected nothing less from you, boss![]()
Nor I from you, boss.
Hardest thing to fix on my car (96 Eclipse) is the ****ing motor/tranny mounts...got 20+hours in them...and still not done.
Hardest thing on the grand prix is prolly replacing a broken flex plate, because it requires pulling the whole motor for a 2minute operation...
Blower motor. I really really don't like doing it.
putting the headers on pretty much sucked. especially when i realized i didn't install the egr valve, either of the O2 sensors, and also trapped half my wiring harness underneath the back one. and then finding the y-pipe doesn't fit right. and dropping the entire cat-back because of rusty bolts. and having to file down my trans housing for the damn crosover pipe. other than that, the entire cam install and top swap is going flawlessly.
i can vouch for the LT1 headers. haven't done it, but that engine bay is tight... i don't want to work on it. as far as what i have done... oil pan gasket in a 91 S-10, sbc 350 swap. without pulling the motor. that was dumb. even worse when i found out it was actually leaking from a broken intake manifold bolt. truck got sold.
