When an individual dies due to chloroform overdoes the liquids inside the body react in such a way that they will seep from available openings. In this instance I would presume that original intent had been to force the child into "sleep". However, upon realization that something was wrong...google, google, google. She taped the child's mouth shut in an attempt to keep the body from continually "leaking" fluids.
She already proved she's not the brightest bulb. Murder most likely wasn't her intent or I'm sure that behaviour would have appeared in other aspects of her life.
Most of you might be ready to lynch her now but I'd hate to see mob mentality prevail when an individual is innocent. Sadly, the media doesn't hype stories about the wrongly accused. Maybe if we're lucky we can just build coliseums and let the accused fight for innocence instead?
The reality is that we're all guilty. We all fail on a daily basis to notice the struggles we bare. It's easy to say that Casey is a terrible liar now. But how many others hid behind those lies to protect their self serving lifestyles? How many people were willing to sacrifice their daily routines for a child who was threatened based on her mom's negligence on a daily basis? Although they're typically lesser extremes, we turn our heads from these matters every day. How many children did we fail today? How many of those children are adults tomorrow? But who cares?...****'em all right? Because they didn't care first?
