yes looked like 2 wires going into a male / female connection, a "T" like a sales shirt tag is attached came off the connection and clipped to the back side of the pump near the bottom.
i was close to just giving it the the old heave ho but i got up and on top and looked down and saw the wires were holding the pump in still.
and the pump was not all that was bad my rack is shot too, so i got another little job to do.
do you recommend any of these ebay cheap reman rack and pinions? or am i just asking for it, i found this one guy Complete Steering Rack and Pinion + NEW OUTER TIE RODS | eBay hes got good reviews but who knows if it will even last 2 years.
