    My car stinks!
I swapped my wife cars yesterday so I could change the oil in it after work. Yesterday morning on her way to work she hit a skunk with my car. No physical damage to the car but wow! I cant believe how bad it smells. Needles to say I smelt like skunk when I got to work today. I think just about everyone there told me I stink today. Does anyone know how to get the smell out? and no I'm not going to wash my car in tomato juice haha.

Time! A skunk sprayed right next to my house a few months ago and after a week I couldn't really notice it. But trying to sleep with that....what a nightmare.

i hit a skunk once, once..... ill cause a pile up before running one over again. nothing works to kill the smell, but time. took about weeks of parking it with the windows wide open 24/7 before it stopped stinking.

I was running to an electrical supply store for work today. I was on a 4 lane divided bypass and as a garbage truck passes me going the other direction I hear BOOOOM!

Rear tire exploded on the garbage truck. Scared the crap out of me. I could only imagine what the car directly to the left of the truck thought as it was engulfed in smoke. LOL

Was behind a semi on the interstate before when a tire blew out and hit the windshield a few years back. Glad I wasn't driving.

its a very unforgiving stink, it lingers for weeks easy. it does suck. like i said, id rather nail the brakes and get rear ended.

My wife hit a skunk with her van. I took it to the car wash and got an undercarriage flush. That helped quite a bit, but time is really the only thing that will get rid of it completely. Oh - a word of advice...whatever you do, do NOT put the car in the garage and close the garage door...Made that mistake, and when I went opened the door from the house to the garage the next morning, it was like walking into a wall of stankiness...

I want to punch each of the engineering crew on the design of the trailblazer in their faces. C'mon front diff ran through oil pan... cool? Overly huge oil pan that won't clear crossmember, hope replacement drops in but have a feeling it's going to have to be forced in. End rant, moral is I have a rather large hate for those now.

Decommissioned a residential boiler today. That meant sawsall to the pipes after it was drained. Black sludge. Everywhere. Doesn't smell just stains anything it touches. I believe there's more of that In store for tomorrow so I washed today's clothes and will wear tomorrow. Last day in residential world. Monday move onto bigger things! Literally!

I would definitely go thru the wash with an undercarriage blast.
I asked an exterminator years ago if he ever got sprayed by a skunk. He said 'oh yeah'...so I asked what he did to get rid of the smell. He said all you need is some Glade neutralizer spray. I would imagine it would take a couple doses, probably one of those cake deodorizers wouldn't hurt either.

Got to watch the crop duster plane at work today. That was a neat experience.

Sorry for my finger being in the way.

you need to hit a skunk, then tell us how it goes. nothing but time makes the smell go a way. even a dog stinks for days with all the home remedies, you gonna soak the car with tomato juice? i think not lol
