Update on the project

Sanded and glued/clamped


Began the cutting of the rails and stiles.


Clamping down some of the rails and stiles.


Just the stiles left to be glued down. Then I'll be making a top with a routed edge and then molding to put along the bottom. Then sand the outside down and stain!

Was helping Shanergtp install his headers today, some random dude drives up and says, "Hey, I need my SWORDS back", all of us are sitting there thing "Who the fvck is this guy". Come to find out he had partied with the neighbor 7 months prior. Kinda funny thing to happen while installing headers.

He missed a few more clamps lol. It is looking great.



On a side note I making some dow.

two weekends worth of work, but the end result is probably worth it. refinished the stairs at home. it still smells of stain in the entire house, but it helps if you want to sleep like a rock (hah, drugs).



needs a little touch up in a few places, but overall i think it turned out well.

and since i was working so hard i treated myself to a lot of liquor on saturday night. when the clock rolled back to 1:00 from 2:00 i took it as a sign to keep going. i went to bed at somewhere around 5:00 real time and the picture below shows the bottle before i had another drink or two. the bottle was brand new when i started on saturday and i was the only one drinking.

i picked up the bottle yesterday and the level of booze is well below the first line of writing. that's either really good or really bad.

All depends on your outlook. Are you a half full or half empty kinda guy?

Things have really changed for me at work in the past week. I learned that I will be leading a new soybean project for the coming planting season. I am nervous as all get out. In process of planning a grower meeting for next week to talk about it. So happy I found a place with awesome opportunities but oh my goly, its happening quicker than I thought.

And we are getting company jackets :-)

This is the dog that my sister trained and handles. It seems like an odd concept at first, but it's really very interesting. There will be a lot more articles in the future, hell there's a news crew at her work right now.
