Woman complained 3400 05 Impala's starting hard. Fresh iridium plugs, thinking maybe fuel filter... checking easy stuff first. Intake filter looks like it went through a tar pit and got coated in leaves. Wacky. Replaced, cleaned MAF, TB.... oil was 3 qts low (!!!!)...
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

I had to get a new coat for work since I can't wear my current one due to the embroidery of my old job company name on it and advertising issues. Went to TSC and found a Carhartt one I liked on the clearance rack. Originally $80, marked down to $39 and I got it for another 20% off of that, for a grand total of $34. Score!!!

Cool glad to hear that being a bit of a hermit here in Tn. (or is the word Yankee outcast lol) most of my car guys, guru's,buddies are here on this forum, would hate to lose one. I''m ok preparing for the worse because while management says "No" I see all signs leading to them making us all part timers to avoid Obama care. So in addition to looking for a new job I am getting a free used oven this week so I can powder coat my own calipers (go ahead and snicker all of you who remember the Spartan fiasco ) and figure I can maybe pick up some side work doing that. Also working on finishing up the cookbook I wrote and got someone lined up to do the marketing for me on that he is working on commission so he has incentive, and thanks for asking. You hang in there I have to admit I feel bad thinking about your post where you said; "I'm gonna miss my little house" it got to me man. I still pray for ya.
