Well, we went and looked the house over one last time tonight. Now it's just the final decision to accept the last offer or walk away.
I am nervous as heck. I will be very upset if Lee decides to walk away from the house. Each time we look at it, it tugs at me a little bit more and says pick me, pick me...you love me, come on, don't deny it.
haha I don't mean to flood. I just don't have many other places to vent. This is the private place I can vent. FB will get you in trouble.
I'm calmer now. But I'm still trying to get some help fixin the holes in my wall. I moved the fridge today in preparation for install and took a pic of what I'm workin with. The holes have been started patching with net and that all purpose joint compound mud crap. IDK. My cousin is a professional painter he said he'd come and fix it tomorrow hopefully.
Here's what I'm dealin with though http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l1...07CD94301F.jpg
Get some sandpaper and sand it smooth brandon.
it's still sunk in the wall. and soft. it's retarded. it's not done right... it needs more than sandpaper. lol
It looks a little rough lol
Yeahhh I just shake my head when I look at it. Uncle means well. I'm proud of the wire hangin out the wall, and the drain lol. :D He did good with those.
But Daniel..did you find some caliper brackets yet?
Been busy working and taking care of the kids. I'll let you know if I can make it to the jy sometime
Ah man it's no problem I was just wondering... No rush, hell I might run out and find some if I get time away from super****s long enough.
Put the machines there and walk away. Outta sight outta mind.
been told that too. but I'll know it's there and it's gonna drive me nuts. my cousins like yeah bro i'll fix it maybe $20-40 depending on if I have to buy anything else than what I got. I'm like cool see ya tomorrow. so hopefully he does it up right. professional painter, he ought to.
Painter doesn't mean drywall/plaster specialist lolol like I said. I could fix it no problem I can build a whole house probably with all the stuff I know
Well painting is what he does but he knows what he's doing. He does a little bit of everything. The guy he's worked for past few years has him re-do the insides of houses and such. So whatever.
Im a perfectionist, I just want it done and over with. :)
slap some kind of paneling or something like that.
if you filling the holes with Spackle, its not going work out, you need a sheet rock in there, then use the Spackle to take the seems.
if filling holes like that you need to do it in thin layers or it will crack and fall out. 1/4 inch at a time tops.
YouTube how to fill large holes in drywall. Should show you some tricks with 2x4's and drywall. Scott knows what I'm talking about. And once you video learn you will too!
heres the easy way to fix your holes. i know this is sheet rock, but it works the same on plaster walls.

Yeah. I mean I hear what yall are saying, and thanks to everyone I've got a rough idea of what needs to be done. But I don't have the materials to do it. And plus it's not MY house technically so I don't wanna be in there jackin up the wall. I'd rather it be done right. And I'd also rather it be finished tomorrow so that I can shove the washer back and just be DONE.
cant really be done in one day, that stuff needs to dry, a fan speeds it up, but over night is best. 2 to 3 coats is the norm. so to or 3 days till you can paint it. and prime it first or the paint will peel off.
