I thought that the Volt was fun to drive, but mainly because of all od the gadgets.
Also, I didn't look under the hood, but if the Volt is anything like other hybrids like the Prius then it does have a normal 12 volt car battery companion.

That thing has too much noise to it for a brand new car and with how highly advertised this car is.
Even if it was windy it should not have that much noise.

Ugh........GM shoulda learned their lessons from their previous junk ass electronic gauges....
I don't understand (well I do, but it's completely illogical) why anyone would buy one of these. It doesn't save you money, and it doesn't protect the environment.
If you wanna do both of those get any modern TDI car. But then you won't look as OMGOMGOMGI'MSOGREEN to your neighbors.
Honestly, I like it.
If it got 2 MPG's with a BBC and was sitting with a pair of Weld Pro Stars in the back...I'd be epic.
If I had money...I'd do it just to piss off the green people.
You would be my hero. Especially if you converted it from gasoline to baby seals. Then parked in the "reserved for alternative fuel vehicles" spot they have at some places.
someone running E85 and a dumb sized turbo should park in those spots....
