Most of the time when a router is involved, the sudden loss of connection to one machine while the others are fine may be fixed with a firmware upgrade to the router. Once you do this, you may have to re-secure the network easily by doing this:

It is all pretty basic stuff once you see it and do it.
Thanks, may try to do that when I get a chance. While we're on the computer topic, I'm currently shopping for an extended life battery. Running in power save mode, I have about 1:20 of life with no programs running. Can't seem to find anything other than 6 cell batteries though.
