subarus dont take to air intakes as well as most cars. or ours atleast. ive trolled around enough impreza/ legacy forums to know intakes are a bad idea for most in most cases. i dont know why but ive only heard bad things. this is something bio may be able to elaborate on.
im with bio. i wouldnt buy either of them. one is lightly modded and looks as if it was owned by a high school kid. so that means it was beat on and raced and he tryed to break the tires loose to impress girls while power shifting and weaving through traffic
..and the ta although it seems like a good deal and im sure the things a beast, but cars arent modded to be driven lightly. fact of the matter is no amount of maintance can compensate for abuse. and he is a mechanic, usually id say thats a good sign but that only means that he has had more opportunities to say "hey you wanna see my beastly t/a" and well you know where this is going
AND i dont know if its just me but id never by a modded car, not only because of the sure abuse, but because i want to do it myself. i couldnt stand having to tell people i bought it like that. evan if you build it further. its not all your build. therefore youre taking a short cut and by-passing the admirable, respectable route.
and to GrandPrixSE subarus arent rice
STi or bust...unless you like glass transmissions.
FBody gets my vote. I know everyone wants a Subaru now, but I'm not buying one. It's your money though.
Everyone wants a Subaru so Nick doesn't feel left out.
Get a Evo.
I have some Nissan parts on my Grand Prix...does that make my car rice?
