    is there anything diffrent between the trans on a 97 gtp and a 99 gtp?

    eh, people argue yes and no but its still the same 4T65E and they both suck
    1.8 RR's, Speed daddy headers, 180 stat, Open Cone, GBP tune, 3.5 pulley, and ported blower.

    97s are vac operated and a few other things
    2001 GTP PT61 Turbo, E85, Stock Motor
    2011 Chevy Cruze MT6 1.4L Turbo

    Yep, thats a pretty big mistake on my part, was very hungover this morning/afternoon.

    The differences from the 97 gtp to 99 gtp are very small. If you were to rebuild the 97 the diff's are a bit different as well as the output shaft, but as far as a straight swap it should work.

    ^^ this last one is on the money. The diff/output shaft has a C clip holding them together instead of a compression clip. The valve body etc isn't the same material either, but that's small.

    Swapping wise...they should be considered the same.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
