Sunday it rained like crazy and on top of all the snow we have around here it flooded everywhere.

I woke up monday and went to work and was there about an hour and got a call from my wife telling me that our downstairs was flooded.....awesome so i booked it home and got out the wet/dry vac and started getting as much of it up as i could.

Carpet ruined, 2 foot of drywall ruined, many of my son's toys ruined, and many other various things ruined. It sucks but the insurance guy came today and i got a check for my $2500 limit. It helps that i'm doing the work my self and i think i'm gonna come out of it for around a $1000 so i think i'm gonna have some extra cash to dump into my gtp. Yeah for me. I've been tearing everything out for two days now i get to start putting stuff back together tom and then we have my daughters first birthday on sunday. Great timing.

Yeah i live in ohio. North of dayton south of lima. Everywhere around here was flooded. About half my neighbors have stuff that got wet sitting out at the road.
