What mods have you guys done that have either failed or made an unexpected difference in your car.

Ill start i put in front and rear strut tower braces and lost a foot of trunk space because the box for my 2 12" was exactly the same height as the rear brace installed and couldnt fit behind it. Have to say makes for better sound though.
I just wish the police loved my car as much as i do 3.5,160 Stat,HAI,ZZP F/R STB, SSAC Headers, Reptile PCM

First was the top swap: balancer was bad.

Took a long time to figure that out.

    Latest is the interfail:

i always liked my "lets rip the passenger window out of the track" mod.
then there's the "i want a green DIC but suck at soldering" one. damn gaping hole in the dash.

seriously though, i replaced the stock foglights with 35 watt bulbs and they melted the housings. and i gutted the airbox but all it did was make my intake whistle loud enough to make my car sound turbo'd.
99 GT - top swapped, S2X cam. - sadly, sold
    96 Firebird Formula - T-tops and exhaust leak. 14.26 @ 97.8 - sold
2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS - stock, in all of it's turbocharged awesomeness

Let' see, replaced UIM on my 00GT. Blew up #1 piston as a result.- Fail

Install used motor/trans with half the mileage and a working OD- WIN! The power increase was great considering I had just replaced every major component on the car at that point. Runs like new

If you remove either you will get rasp. Remove both and your Honda status. Not having muffs probably isn't helping me either though lol.
