Id just do military storage as long as its enclosed and damn in the guard we get at least 6 mo heads up when next deployment is. Good luck, Id much rather go back to Iraq than see Afghanistan again!!
AKDOS sounds like a pretty good deal. It's too bad they don't have one in Norfolk. Military storage here (NEX) is an outdoor gravel lot.
Family is only good if you can trust them. When my brother left his car with me, I drove it about once per week and fully detailed it before he came home. When I left mine with him, I found it sitting in his lot with a dead battery, flat tires, and a sticker saying it was going to be towed. He's just didn't know or care enough about cars to take care of it properly.
Is it normal for you to have such a short notice before a deployment? Good luck over there, and come back to us in one piece.
Like others have said, thank you for serving. What part of Iraq will you be in and what will you be doing?
Stay safe and when you get home hopefully you will do some more killer mods to your car.
Mods wise.
More then likely going to sell the Cam i just bought and get a bigger one when i get back.
going to do full forged internals and Cyro treat the block and a few other things, 2.8 S/C pulley FS Intercooler, 42* Fuel injectors. Some 20' Rims KYB struts, Votland Springs ZZP Control arms get the car repainted (Like Really good black, might do 2 red rally stripes OR this idea i had with the inserts on the SD Hood..) . get a custom fiberglass box mad with 3 15's in the back. new amp Dynomat the entire interior might do a custom dash because i really hate the stock GP dash. might get a sunroof installed. and whatever else tickles my fancy
Keep the damn car, upgrade WHEN You get back.I still got my 95 Monte C from 2006 damaged and all lol
do an epic custom brake job on that if ur putting 20's.
Have a safe trip. ^^I agree with doing a good brake upgrade. Lot more rolling weight to stop. Fbody brakes maybe?
