You cats getting ready for the beach yet?
ITHURTZ : Re: cissus: I'm using something like 3g/d of 20% now. This stuff is really all the rage in the supplement community right now (aparently, it actually helps build muscle, too). That and forskolin, apparently. Is it helping? Who knows... I'm pretty constantly beat up. But it's cheap enough and mixes well into protein shakes.
yup yup, I still have 2 jars of powder super cissus to lazy to use it. Cissus is also anabolic in higher dosages.
I really need to start getting on it, my shoulders, elbows, knees and right hip are not 18 anymore.
How long you been on it, most people starting feeling "better" after the 2nd week and it only gets better.
I lost about 10 pounds in March. Hoping to keep that trend moving. Got my first half marathon in 2 years coming up in the fall....I'd like to be down around 240 by then...
Gonna start my ass at the gym here right away. I've been suffering from a lot of depression lately, and I figured getting able to channel my emotions in a constructive way wouldn't hurt me.
Not to mention, I could stand to lose some pounds...
Just your ass? What's the rest of you gonna be doing while your ass is in the gym?
Me too. I started off at around 330...down to around 280 now, and want to be around 250 by the fall...around 220 this time next year.
I'm at 250 id like to cut down to 220
Been about two weeks now, haha. NP said something along the lines of it taking at least a month to see results. Shoulders have been feeling a lot better this month, though... btn snatch grip push pressing 205 for a couple triples tonight without any incidents. Hit 15 unbroken strict handstand pushups last week at 230lbs.
Knees... well, I just started squatting again almost two months ago (one month fronts only, one month high bar, and soon to start low bar again). One knee is awesome, one's a bit iffy.
And I somehow strained a low trap when I rolled my shoulders deadlifting a mere 495lbs in January and keep reinjuring it doing stupid things... just started trying to actively rehab it this week (I miss deadlifts so bad - be a couple months before I chance it). Almost pain-free now.
Diet's suiting me nicely right now, down about 17lbs in 18 days... finally broke through the plateau I set back in like November (set point is a b*tch). Monday starts the ECA again, so I'll hopefully crawl a little further out of my fatsuit.
Starting a new diet today. See you all in a month
I dropped weight the bad way. Nothing like throwing up for two days straight
I think the last time I had food poisoning, I dropped something like 14lbs overnight. No bueno.
I think mono came back I had it in the 8th grade
I haven't posted in here. I am not a big guy in the least. I am 5'9" and about 175. I must "hide my weight" though because no one ever believes me that I weight that much.
Any way I am not so interested in necessarily losing weight as I am in toning up. Stress from my current job gives me little motivation once I get off work, but I am hopefully close to landing a new job. Once that takes place I will probably start running. If I do, I will start to track my progress along the way.
toning up = muscle plus weight loss. there is NO other explanation
I hear ya on the little motivation and the stress, but I started forcing myself to run on my treadmill after work and now it's just a habit. Plus, if I have a crappy day at work I just push myself harder during my workout and I feel great afterwards. Hope you land that new job soon though! Good luck.
thought women never spoke about there weight. thought all women weighed as much as a feather lol
lol I don't really care to talk about my weight, I'm not a big girl, but I'm not tiny either. I like working out though, makes me feel more energized throughout the day. :)
If I had a girlfriend it might motivate me to run. If not for getting/staying in shape, to get away from her.
