It was the quickest modern production FWD car in the north american market when it was sold...

I assume your camera was on auto? You need to adjust the white balance for the different light sources.

The biggest issue with digital cameras is that no one knows how to setup the white balance properly.

The wing is also a tad obnoxious.

    see the present impreza/wrx/sti situation.

    Stock for stock a SRT-4 will walk a SS/SC.

I posted the different pictures to show what the paint looks like under different lighting, nothing was wrong with my camera lol. I normally shoot in AP mode, some of those were taken in auto mode. Wasn't aiming for a professional photoshoot, just some quick pictures before the car got dirtied up again I would have chosen a nicer background than my driveway/garage if I wanted nice pictures. I know plenty about white balance and "setting up" a camera properly, seeing that I'm a photo illustration major. (By the way I'm not being a dick, I'm just pointing out that I don't really care if the white balance is off on a picture I snapped real quick).

The stock spoiler is staying for now because it's not a priority. Once I get the car where I want it to be performance wise then I might consider trading it out for a low rise. To be honest I don't love it but it doesn't bother me either.

Didnt mean straight line. And was referring to TC cars.

Cool, didn't come off as a dick so thumbs up.

Agree on the last bit there as well.

As I've said before, I never wanted a cobalt SS, I bought it because I needed a car to commute to school in. I sold my GTP with all intentions of finding a WRX and it didn't happen in time. I figure if I can trade my car and my bike for something I really want (STi) then why not do it?

with that being said, it needs more work anyhow because my mom backed into it last night...

Yeah, **** my life. This car is a curse.

That's a really ****ing ignorant statement. This car may not be what I wanted, but it's mine now and because of that I take pride in it. I take care of my things because I work hard for them, and I want people to not dick up my things. I bet you feel the same way about your car.

If someone backed into your car, I would have replied with "damn that sucks dude, hope it works out for you!", not "eh it's just an old grand prix, what do you expect?"

At the end of the day, even though my car is "just a cobalt" it's still worth more than your car and it has an owner that takes pride in his crappy cobalt. Go troll someone else's thread if you have nothing constructive to add.

    I own a Cobalt boss.

Cheaply constructed car...only variant that ISN'T...is the SS/TC's. But still...carryover dash and awful everything interior related. It's a joke. You honestly can't say the Cobalt is better designed than a Wbody inside anyways. GM sucks at non-plastic interiors. Plus...it's your mom...highly doubt she is just going to leave it like that. Pretty ignorant getting all worked up...its just the internet guy.

cobalts are good racing platforms for auto-x events. if u can drive. its a nice car. id drive it, sure id take a wrx over it (the hatchback ones tho), but still. if i had it, id keep it.

Who wants to drive a nice car in the winter?

Winter kinda eats cars in case you hadn't noticed.

TC rims are going to happen for sure and I would never put any kind of underbody lights on my car haha. And I wont be talking with bluegtp91 anymore because I blocked him If he doesn't have anything constructive to say about slobalts then I don't need to waste my time reading his posts.
