I use Mobil 1 Synthetic 10W 30 and Filter every 4000 Miles just seeing what everyone else uses in their GTP

In both my 3100 '94 Grand Am (now past 200K miles) and my 3800 '04 Monte Carlo (and the rest of my fleet), I use conventional (Quaker State, Havoline, Valvoline, Castrol) and change 3000-5000 miles. I prefer a Bosch filter but I sometimes go for a Fram.
So far, I feel this oil change regiment has served me well. So, I am hard pressed to switch it.
I use Castrol Syntec in all of my vehicles and Wix filters... every 3500-5000 miles... My GP has 225k miles on it and still runs strong... Would NEVER use a fram after working in the auto aftermarket and seeing a cutaway of one of their filters...
Mobil 1 syn 0w-30...I will probably do 5w-30 for the winter.
Napa Gold filter (wix filter in disguise)
I use Mobil 1 full synthetic on all of our cars with Purolator PureOne oil filters.
I use Motul 300V Double Ester with K&N filters on all of my bikes.![]()
I will beat with my dead alternator if they say they use Fram oil filters
mobil 1 synthetic 10w-30 and a bosch filter. i started using synthetic when i somehow started putting 4000 miles on my car a month. i'm probably close to 5k and the oil is still gold. f*ckin highway miles
Mobil 1 synthetic with GM filter, cool thing is I get 6 quarts for 20 bucks!!!
Oh Sh1#!
Castrol Syntec 10W30 every 3,500 miles with a Fram Sure Grip oil filter. What's the deal with Fram?
(Unfortunately, I have never cut one in half so I guess I will)
Castrol syntec, Amsoil, Mobil 1, Royal purple.... what ever I can find the cheapest, 10w-30 and mobil1 flters.
used to change 3K religiously, now its 4.5-5k.... ****s to expensive now.
They're crap dude, plain and simple. Even with google you'll find where people have cut them open and what's inside you might as well use an old soda can and some cardboard.'
This sort of research is what got me to choose Purolator PureOne's. In the scope of things they are a really good filter for the price (even better than the K&N's). Only reason I use the K&N's on my bikes is the nut on the end makes for getting some really odd filter positions easier to work with.
mobil 1 extended performance 10w 30 always with mobil 1 filter or bosch dirt filter. change ever 4k hard... and i mean hard miles. ive had my oil anylized too and found that my engine is clean. also id just like to clarify that should you ever go from synthetic back to conventional you can do this. ive been told by many that doing this can cause problems. well im here to tell you that is false. just fyi incase you cant afford your normal oil.
