Castrol Syntec 10W30 every 3,500 miles with a Fram Sure Grip oil filter. What's the deal with Fram?
(Unfortunately, I have never cut one in half so I guess I will)

Castrol syntec, Amsoil, Mobil 1, Royal purple.... what ever I can find the cheapest, 10w-30 and mobil1 flters.
used to change 3K religiously, now its 4.5-5k.... ****s to expensive now.
They're crap dude, plain and simple. Even with google you'll find where people have cut them open and what's inside you might as well use an old soda can and some cardboard.'
This sort of research is what got me to choose Purolator PureOne's. In the scope of things they are a really good filter for the price (even better than the K&N's). Only reason I use the K&N's on my bikes is the nut on the end makes for getting some really odd filter positions easier to work with.
mobil 1 extended performance 10w 30 always with mobil 1 filter or bosch dirt filter. change ever 4k hard... and i mean hard miles. ive had my oil anylized too and found that my engine is clean. also id just like to clarify that should you ever go from synthetic back to conventional you can do this. ive been told by many that doing this can cause problems. well im here to tell you that is false. just fyi incase you cant afford your normal oil.
Works well IMO, I change it every 2500-3000 depending on driving conditions, but im not the babying type (stupid WHINE addiction). Its usually just starting to get dark when I change it out, but I don't like the whole safe to 9000+ miles that the synthetic give you, Id rather save money *short term* and change it more to keep an eye on everything. Thats too many miles for how I drive
LOL @ Spartans GIF
