Thread: What Oil does everyone else use?

Royal Purple with K&N filter for 4.3L , double the length

mobil 1 extended performance 10w 30 always with mobil 1 filter or bosch dirt filter. change ever 4k hard... and i mean hard miles. ive had my oil anylized too and found that my engine is clean. also id just like to clarify that should you ever go from synthetic back to conventional you can do this. ive been told by many that doing this can cause problems. well im here to tell you that is false. just fyi incase you cant afford your normal oil.

Mobil 10x30 (conventional not syn) with a Delco filter. I work at a dealership and we buy the reg Mobil oil in bulk PLUS i get a discount extra cheap for me

mobil conventional ? oh thats the "mobil clean" stuff right? how is that?

Works well IMO, I change it every 2500-3000 depending on driving conditions, but im not the babying type (stupid WHINE addiction). Its usually just starting to get dark when I change it out, but I don't like the whole safe to 9000+ miles that the synthetic give you, Id rather save money *short term* and change it more to keep an eye on everything. Thats too many miles for how I drive
