I'm thinking of getting another car. Love my GP but she's got some issues. I'm thinking of getting another one, an Accord or possibly a Grand Am Coupe. GT version. Anyone have experience with the Grand Am's? Good move or not? Any help or suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

I'll stick with the GP. I saw some GA's in person, coupe, and didn't like the look of it.

true and true. My girlfriend drives a GA. And little boys wear bowties; Big boys drive ford.

But in all honesty, go test drive one and if you like it, get one. Thats how I got a GP, I have always been a GM hater, than I drove a GP and liked it.

test drive them both and see what you like more. if you want a bit more modding ability and power tho stay grand prix. either way i think they both look good inside and out.

whats chevy have anything to do with this conversation?

My wife has a Grand Am Se with the 3400 with 140,000 miles. We bought it around 80,000 and its a pretty decent car. Replaced the upper intake gasket and had the fuel pump replaced was the only major thing. If your going for performance its not really gonna be there we have a FWI and tune from Milzy motorsports and its decently quick. It can hang with a stock 3800 for a bit

there are 2 grand ams in my driveway both with the 3400, the handle great and are good in snow but they are smaller and have their fair share of annoying problems like the need to replace the coolant level sensor and CPS and clean all the stupid grease out of the turn signal stick housing so the relay doesnt annoy to hell out of you, ive always like the GPs more tho
