    Hi there

I am looking for some advice on purchasing a Grand Prix – I am looking to purchase one of the three GP’s – a 1990 Turbo GP, a 1991-1993 GTP or a 1992 Richard Petty GP. I am quite torn as what direction to go in. Basically I am looking to buy this car and keep it with minimal driving – bring it to shows, etc.

I have owned several new GPs in the past:

    92 GTP
    97 GTP
    98 GTP Daytona 500
    99 GTP
    00 GTP Daytona 500

Although I loved everyone one of these cars, I especially loved my 92 – it was just unique in its own way – rear buckets, compass, etc

I found a 90 Turbo that has all of the bells and whistles and I also found a 92 RP GP – however those didn’t come with all the neat items that the Turbo or GTP did. If I happened to come across a clean low mileage GTP – I’d probably jump on it .

I’d love to hear opinions on which you would choose and why.

    Thanks so much in advance!!!

With how many GP's you have owned I think you can handle this decision on your own.

that last post made me lol

i'd go with the turbo one too. you just don't see them that often
99 GT - top swapped, S2X cam. - sadly, sold
    96 Firebird Formula - T-tops and exhaust leak. 14.26 @ 97.8 - sold
2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS - stock, in all of it's turbocharged awesomeness

I agree with going with the turbo gp.
02 GT: Silverstar ultras, nighthawk platinum 2157s, ngk plugs, champion wires, 6k hid fogs, stainless magnaflows, cleaned tips, 2 10" subs. Finally painted.

Thanks everyone for your advice. Hopefully everything will work out. The only thing is that the car has a bad ABS module and they are having a hard time locating that part. They said they can send it out to GM to get it rebuilt.
