25k is not a whole lot when it comes to diesels, my transmission alone is worth 10k, twins another 5k, dual cp3 3.5k... the list goes on but i like your idea a lot!
That is why I said a start. I would run a manual tho to cut the trans cost down, just need 3k in a clutch. Dont think I would really build a stoker, get way more out of a cummins with less cash. Stoker would just be a baller factor.
