rebuild a 300zx. If you like the '90+ style, those are just cool looking. the older ones are cool, and pretty cheap.

wat sense would that make spending money on modding a slow car? waste of money and definately wouldn't be any fun. but i would say taking it apart and putting it back together is something.

i love everyone saying an LSx platform...

have any of you ever owned one and modded it? they aren't cheap. the car itself is going to cost you at least $10k.

Motor+tranny combo are far cheaper than an fbody and you can put it into a better car

so far im still contemplating 03+cobra or 06 GTO and if im really thinkin bout making a power move then i would be looking at the nissan GTR or G8 GXP . . . but like someone said i have to also research the aftermarket.....more car suggestions would be helpfull though.

If you want to go fast cheap, with a V8.

    Get a 87-93 5.0 Mustang.

Tires, Suspension, and basic bolt-on's, and you're already low 13's.

This guys right on the money and I call BS on your plans at all if one minute your talking about a 03 Cobra or GTO then the next a GTR umm for the price of a GTR you could have about 3 Cobras or about 4 GTOs. Fast cheap easy to work on Mustang hands down.

if you really want to learn things about modding a car then pick up a cheap roller 80's GM car (basically any of them look good with the right accents) and swap in a motor of your choice. i always thought a GTA with an LS1 would have been too much fun.

even better, start with an early 90's S-10 and build a 383
you could learn anything with those. from V8 swaps in the enormous engine bay, to body and frame repair, to custom spray painting, and stuff like beating the sh!t out of it with a hammer when you're mad at it. parts are easy to find too. and the best part, you could look around for a week and find one for like $800
99 GT - top swapped, S2X cam. - sadly, sold
    96 Firebird Formula - T-tops and exhaust leak. 14.26 @ 97.8 - sold
2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS - stock, in all of it's turbocharged awesomeness

Cheap parts aftermarket support and # easy finds mustang still wins hands down. They're everywhere and require a ton less work than swapping an s10 or a lsx anything swap.

How can u call bull**** on a thread asking questions???? read it again . . . i said im leaning towards the first two. and if i really want to make a POWER MOVE then im gonna be looking at the GTR or G8 GXP. so that means that thoose two are the last things on my list if anything. and yeah i believe u on the mustang but idk doesn't everyone have a mustang. its really rare to see a GTO....GOD there so sexy.
