I have gotten nothing but the run around with SAIA motor freight line. I was told almost 4 months ago by the field rep to not pay the invoice. While she tries to get the invoice fixed. 4 months latter i start getting collection calls so i call her and remind her and she gives me your bosses cell. And well he had no part of help. So on goes a BBB complaint and Attention general complaint. How does this sound below? What would you do if you where me? I have already went up the chain as high as i could.

My complaint with this saia motor Co. is that back last year I called them and got an account number. I called one of my suppliers gave them my saia account number. The order was picked up and then shipped to me all from
8-11-09 an 818# order with a class of C85 for $1182.84 with an 85% discount for total cost of $201.57
9-29-09 an 860# order with a class of C85 for $1232.73 with an 85% discount for total cost of $211.11
So i was getting 85% off on all my previous orders. They did not disclose to me that my rates had changed before picking up my order.
Then on 10-14-09 an 385# order shipped that was classed as a C150 which should have been a c85 "cheaper". And total bill was for 1398.47 with 0% discount. After dealing with them for 4 months they said they would give me 45% off because they say now i have no rates when i placed the order. Even though i have proof i had previous orders with rates. But then i asked them if i shipped something today. i would receive 75 % off. Then after talking to a Greg from saia, i don't have his last name but his number is 816-522-3914. he told me he fix the invoice for the 75% off. He then called me back 2 hrs later asking me how much i would ship currently threw another shipper. After telling him my currently ship currently he told me he would make more money off me by not fixing the invoice than if he was to get my business back...

ok.. here it goes.. im not an english major... but here is a start.

    To Whom It May Concern,

Due to lack of customer service, I am lodging an official complaint against SAIA MOTOR CO. Approximately a year ago, I decided to use SAIA to fulfill my shipping needs. In turn I provided my supplier's my SAIA account number. The order was picked up promptly, however I did not receive any communication from SAIA in any shape or form about any such "rate changes" for my shipments.

I contacted SAIA at (phone number, email ..etc) and inquired about the following orders. From my calculations, the total shipment amount is incorrect on the following orders.

    8-11-09 Order 818#
    9-29-09 Order 860#
    10-14-09 Order 385#

I have been dealing with (Names and Contact numbers) , with SAIA about the following bill issues, yet I have not been contacted. This issue has not been corrected as of March 2010. I was recommend to SAIA from other suppliers in my industry, and never heard any complaints. However, my views have shifted dramatically about SAIA and its affiliates.

Please contact me about this issue at your earliest convenience. Failure to do so will result in formal complaints filed to the BBB and local and state consumer advocacy agencies.

    Sincerely,
    (Your Name)

Check if SAIA is part of the BBB. If not, you cannot do anything through them.
We used to use get freight through SAIA a few times but they starting screwing the companys that ship to us so now they refuse to ship with SAIA.
