aside from the obvious visual differances there about the same, the SD does a better job of venting heat out of the engine bay while the F1 looks much better.

The f1 hoods also have grills in the back that can be seen from the rear... or atleast the origianl one does.

    ------------------------------
I had a stinger/ascd slp hood. I can say the underside is very ugly.

Here is a pic of the seams around the hood where the topside and bottom side of thefiberglass halves was glued together... prety ugly. will really look bad painted IMO...

Hood latch needed a TON of working of the striker aswell as the latch asembley on the car, I ended up heating the latch up and bending the **** out of the striker forward. The latch system is a little weak where it attaches to the hood. It is bolted by 4 bolts with a small little metal shim on the indside. You may want to consider hood pins.

Lastly the originally completely forgot to give me the brackets so I could mount the struts to the hood. So I ended up making my own... which is why I was holding the hood up in the pics.

Using your debit card as a debit card... not a credit card.. that was your mistake.

My debit card sux... but I find out that if I use it as a credit card.. not a problem that I have come across yet. If its a visa/mastercard... use it as such... dont mention its a debit... they wont know if it is or not.

it was around $130 to wyoming. it comes in a box with the only protection being great stuff expanding foam around the corners (have fun cleaning that crap off) so definatly remember to check the hood (inside the box) before paying and signing the paperwork.
