I was part of the minority when it comes to the projectors we got from spyderauto. I was in it 95% for the look of them, when we found out they had issues we just fixed it.

I'd put a paycheck on it: If spyder makes these most, if not all of you, will be sorely disappointed at the quality and customer service.

The Spyder Auto headlights use a H1 projector, and it's a pretty good projector (sharp cutoff, nice beam pattern). The problem is the design of the rest of the headlight (projector at an angle, weak bracket). If Spyder learns from their mistake and puts the same projector in a decent housing (i.e. properly aligned and supported), it will be a good product.

About the pricing: I was on of the ones who bought the Spyder projectors from the group buy. I certainly wasn't happy when the price plummeted on eBay, but I don't think it was Spyder's intention. I think Spyder planned on a lot more people buying them, and when they didn't sell the market got flooded.

I think so...but custom retroing isn't that hard. And if you read the last few post in my retro thread there is good info on how it can all fit and about those ultra small HID projectors

But without a doubt in order for anybody to retro on an 04+ some of the black plastic behind the headlight would have to be cut away. If this guy came up with a product that didn't, I can guarantee that the projectors are just total crap
