yeah a tune to get the max out of it for sure. I was just wondering cause like the sti(for example) with out a tune and added mods, it would run slower then stock..... But yes i would get it tuned. Knock is NO bueno

intercooler is good for 40-50hp or cam good for 35-50ish with supporting mods
first mod most people want but dont do is headers its best to just save and get headers

So a little insight, I have been around Grand Prixs since the early 2000's have been owner of at least two and they always have a soft spot in my heart. Even thought current shes not my daily driver i will always own a GP.. Something about these cars and the people that drive them keep me coming back for more. You would not be dissapointed. Even if something does break you have a whole community that is more than willing to help with any question you have "as long as you used the search button first" so to summarize there are things each one of us dont like about the cars but we all stick around because we love em.

Yeah will see. I already ran a 12.3 with the neon and i have a better set up now. Hoping for low 11's. Waiting on the track to open....

Is there a lot needed to get the GTP into the 11's?

ive seen trackslips with S/C setups in the 11's... not many though. Pretty sure a gtp will get in the 11's cheaper than a neon will.

another pro is that if you have a leather interior your set. for the past month I thought about selling my car but what really changed my mind was the night I had to sleep in it (dont ask)
its quite possibly the most comfortable interior ive ever been in. the car retains heat too so I was warm all night. and there were three of us in the car! lots of room+comfy seats = epic win.
oh and having a sleeper is bad ass
