I dislike it that the S/C was sold out when I got my GP
When it's all said and done - I have almost 130k miles on my GTP. I still love it and drive it more than my GTO.
- The interior is so incredibly cheap. Everything rattles - it's all plastic crap. It just feels and looks very cheap.
- The heated seat burns my ass
- The headlights are crap - they are poorly sealed and need routine replacement
- The HUD is very hard to see with polarized sunglasses
- The interior is incredibly cheap
- The tranny gets confused sometimes and won't downshift when I want it to
- The interior sucks
- The mileage readout and range on the computer are laughably inaccurate
- The interior was designed by three drunk imbeciles
- The steering wheel controls wear out way too easily
- I've seen better build quality on a tace bell grande than in the GTP's interior
But, even when it was brand new, it felt cheap. The gaps on the interior were all over the place and you could see obvious places where the injection molded flashing was not trimmed on the panel pieces. This is just shoddy design.
Nothing on the interior ever felt anything other than cheap.
Spending five hours slaving over the car to weld the headers and start up the car to have it misfire like a mother****er.

I asked the previous owner about the AC issue (hes a neighbor and original owner of car) and he said he never had any issue with the AC.
I guess thats what I get for buying a car that sat in a guys backyard untouched for almost 3 years.
I am extremely jealous of all of you.![]()

i don't use mine. it doesn't really get that cold anyways. and it makes my car rev to high hell when i don't expect it to. windows down is more fun too
Yes windows down is more fun, but when the back of my shirt is drenched in sweat, especially when Im going into work, it kinda sucks.
Oh - one other thing.
Who designed the windshield wipers on this car? Why can't they lift up off the windshield like a normal car? This makes squeegieing the window near impossible in the winter.
they're called hideaways...
I know....but they can still be designed to pull off all the way or retract off of the glass.
