I really can't see how anyone on earth doesn't think the new camaro is sexy. I've made it clear that I LOVE the corvettes, but there is just something about the new camaro that makes it just as appealing. So yeah, the new maro is SEXY!!!!

they definitely look better in person, i'll agree with whoever said that. the first gen remains the best looking. i really don't like the second gens, the irocs look nice but have the stereotype haha. the last two gens aren't bad. i think gm had the right idea going retro but it still needs a little help. start with a bigger back window and then make the front end look less plastic

Yeah, I really loved the old camaros, but the styling of the new camaros is like a general shape of the old bodystyle but still heading down that road that ends in the bubble cars. Like the ones I saw in this one Wesley Snipes movie that I can't remember the name. God, I don't want my only option to be a bubble car in 50 years.

I've never really been a fan of the new maros, although as much as I hate to say it, I think ford did it right. They kept the shape a lot the same, but just kinda refined it.

Movie = Demolition Man with Snypes, Stallone, and Bullock. The 4th gen prototype camaro was in that movie too!!! (it was red, and very different from production).

Also, I like the exterior, but I can NOT stand the interior.... I almost cried and threw up at the same time when I saw it in person. If I had one on order (something I considered), I would have cancelled it!! It really disappointed me, especially with all of the anticipation of the new camaro coming out. I'm one of those guys that used to have a really nice 3rd Gen camaro and wished it was still around.

Wow, you're right, that was it haha. Good call on that. I saw parts of it a real long time ago... didn't realize Stallone was in it, too...

Yeah my dad has an 89 rs convertible in good condition sitting in the garage right now. It's nice and all, but it's nothing compared to the kind of cars he used to have (70 aar cuda, 69 vette, etc). Can't wait until I can find my early second gen T/A

i think the new camaros are sexy. alot better than the mustangs. but, its a "new" car. give it a year or 2 and GM will refine it just like ford did with the mustang.

My english teacher preferred the second definition as that's how it is more commonly used. Although honestly, I'd rather just say "it is no longer up for discussion" just to be clear

The latest on the new Z28. This is from MotorTrend.com dated September 21, 2009:

With GM now out of bankruptcy, the Z28 program has been restarted. Why? Insiders say the Z28 business case now makes sense because the new UAW contracts have reduced the labor costs on the car to the point where GM feels it can price it competitively -- and far enough away from Corvette. That's the good news. The bad news is EPA certification and GM durability requirements mean the Z28 is unlikely to go on sale until late 2011.

At the rear is a taller lip spoiler that runs the full width of the car. A new rear-bumper fascia features a deeper section with integrated exhaust outlets. The wheels are 20-inchers with an aggressive "tuning-fork" five-spoke pattern.
A new hood features a large, forward-facing scoop. Underneath is the 6.2-liter supercharged LSA V-8 that also powers the Cadillac CTS-V. As we have already confirmed, this is quite a powerplant, delivering 556 horsepower at 6100 rpm and 551 pound-feet of torque at 3800 rpm.
The near-4300-pound CTS-V thunders from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds and nails the quarter mile in 12.3 seconds (automatic) or 12.4 seconds (manual). Top speed is limited to 175 mph in the auto (to preserve the tranny), but the manual will storm to an autobahn-melting 193 mph. As the Z/28 will weigh 200 to 300 pounds less than the CTS-V, it may nail 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and run the quarter in the very low 12s. This Z28 could be the fastest Chevy ponycar since the legendary ZL-1-powered COPO 9560 Camaros built 40 years ago.
The Z28 is likely to only be available with a six speed manual transmission, unless GM can piggyback some of the car's certification on work already done for the CTS-V to get the automatic into the range at low cost.

They are butt ugly. The windows height to panel height is completely skewed. Even a Neanderthal could tell you that.
