I was going to suggest an Audi R8.....but you'd need another 100K...
lmao
I'd honestly like to see where you can get a nice GTO for 10K. No way.
Why not a blown Cobalt? The SS's are 5-spd...supercharged...get pretty good MPG's too, AND...they have power windows/locks/keyless entry...WITH a huge aftermarket![]()
I agree... A Cobalt SS S/C is a way better, more realisitic and nicer than some of the other options posted. I'd like to mess with an S/C Cobalt sometime, though I'd probably opt for the Turbo version which is a bit more. There a small car but i've rode in one before, i'm 6'3 and I was comfortable in it.
Though I must say, first thing to go would be that ugly ricer wing. I'd find some base LS Cobalt guy on the street and swap that ugly wing for a base LS version spoiler which is good looking, or swap decklids if the paint is correct and the holes won't line up the same. I'm sure I could sucker someone in doing that. I'd also think about different wheels too, but thats me, 99% of cars out there nowadays don't have good looking wheels to begin with...

Some factory SC cobalts have small spoilers that look good.
^^They did...but they are still gaudy.
Just get rid of the wing altogether and drop it.![]()
Not true. The coupe came s/c and it had just the very small spoiler. Kid at school has one but he still fell to the gtp.
get a cement truck![]()
You can get a newer G6 in that price range, an 04-06 Grand Prix, Impala, Cobalt SS wouldn't be bad. This is a buyers market..if you see something priced at 12,000 and you have 10G on hand...money talks.![]()
I had a Cobalt SS (ugly fat chic :P) I loved the car! It was a fun DD! I also had a G6 and it was nice of course but I would rather have a Grand Prix. Why do you want a manual? Please don't say because its faster...because in all honesty unless you can switch gears like a mother fuc*er your not going to be faster then a automatic. I know right now they have deals going on the HHR its turbo fully loaded...cute car..not me! But its stick, fully loaded...and turbo!
Reality check: I believe she's 19 guys... She probably could not pay that much for insurance for a gto or even a s/c 2 door manual balt. I think you need to set a price range and then go from there... Basically you want a cheaper manual car with power windows and locks that looks decent... My friend got a new G5 for cheaper than what you'd expect, maybe look into one, i wasn't all that into it but it looks decent and seems to hold up well for her. I think it was new and she got it for 7-8k. In that range you'd be looking at $200 a month payments just for a loan, then figure out insurance on it and go from there. Do not get something that your going to be barely able to make the payments on, if its going to be close and the car isn't one of your dream cars, your going to regret it. Just focus on getting something that won't break your bank and hold you over for a few years.
