paypal jus like any large biz is in it for the money
the little guy doesnt matter They will protect buyers when its ebay due to that partnership and once again big biz

No one on here wants to get a attorny involved due to cost So more then likely it will never go any where Hopefully the police route will due something

Personally its more about the princaple of the situation Noone will really miss a couple hundred bucks in the long run
I do realize there are those out alot more then that tho I was almost one of them...

Small Claims court, Attorny, local police and such routes are all thats really left.
Unless someone actually pays The Arse a visit and that doesnt look like it will happen. Plus even ill admit its a bad choice but may be worth a few days in jail lmao

Oh yeah, I'm sure TDC is real worried about not getting to use his PayPal account anymore.

I've read every single post in this thread, it's crazy how it escalates back and forth.

I Feel bad for you guys who all lost money to him.. I just don't understand why someone would go through all this for a small amount of money, if you ask me... $5,000 or so isn't worth ruining everything.. Could of made more over time selling parts, helping out, ect.

But, you live & learn, well... I guess some people never do learn.

Yeah really, you would think if you wanted to really get people, go to clubGP, and every other forum for that matter, and start a group buy on like GXP brake kits F&R for 450$ with rotors and pads and lines.

Im sure more than 90 people would jump on that if you gave it 2 months time.

    90 x 450 = 40,500.

Now that would be worth pulling a scam over for!

"Christmas offer, starting now til december 25th, jump in on the group buy, GXP brake kits FRONT and REAR with rotors and pads and lines, a full bolt on affair, for the low low price of 450$ per person,

Group buy ships on Dec 25th, so get your money in noW!!!"

Yeah Paypal is pretty much useless. It was worth a shot anyway. They don't really care about if people get fleeced, yet they profit by claiming that they make things so much safer and protect buyers. They've finally had to step up and guarantee eBay transactions which is no surprise since they are the same entity. That does us no good though. And by preferring that people use their bank accounts rather than credit cards to supply Paypal transactions, we've just made ourselves much more vulnerable thanks to Paypal. Clearly Parker was well versed on how to keep our money and stop the claims by exploiting Paypal. I'm sure they are not going to get anything from him.

My theory is that when he posted the stuff for sale he might not have really figured on just stealing people's money right then. He may have honestly had something come up in his life, a financial problem maybe, that made stealing the money seem like a good idea. I still think the death in the family bit is total BS since it looked like he used it as a convenient excuse before. It is easy to get sympathy with no proof as you can see early in this thread. The relatively small amount here makes it look like he didn't have this planned out that far in advance and that it was more of a snap decision initially. It is really stupid to get in the amount of trouble he potentially could be in over ~$5,000. However people can do something this stupid if it was a quick decision and they don't have much integrity. Criminals are usually not the brightest people anyway.

im pretty sure talking isnt what would happen if some one were to pay him a visit

And lets face it Does it really matter why he did this If i break into your house and steal your tv's and stuff does it matter why
Most people arent looking at it in those terms if a guy comes up and mugs you does it really matter why?
There are still a few people on here triing to grasp reality in what happened due to the fact he was a "stand Up" guy till this but I can tell ya criminals 90% of the time dont have a plan most crimes are spur of the moment

well it usually starts out spur of the moment, and then it leads into much bigger things, stealing a pen at work, ends up leading to stealing laptops

I went to GA to meet a CCP member to get some help with my exhaust, i told the gp member about the horrible experience I had with Parker about my Pacesetters (Basically they were all beat up, and he didnt tell me.) ... The CGP member basically said he didnt care for Parker. However Parker used a U bolt at the Y pipe... dumbarse.... it cost me more than the headers did to get everything fixed and done.

It made me sick that he listed those headers over here, mentioning the issues, but not on CGP... where I got them from. Immediately, I knew he was a rat.

However, when i came over here... I couldnt tell anyone, b/c there was so many TDC lovers. Funny how times change.

The local PD as in local to Parker? From what I gather that is not the way we are to do it. As victims we go through our local PD and they can contact the appropriate PD for the crook. Parker might be in Mexico by now for all we know or in some other state so the GA PD may not even be the relevant jurisdiction anymore. When you fill out the IC3 form it asks for your PD's name. Situations like this are the whole purpose of the IC3. They have a standardized form to gather necessary information and they know who and how to relay that information to the appropriate law enforcement agencies (we hope). At this point there is not going to be a fast resolution to this. Probably going to take months at least.
