What happened to TDC Racing???

This is ridiculous. I've been following this thread since it was posted and reading the new posts every couple of hours. Everyone on here needs to file a claim on paypal so they atleast have a chance at getting their money back. Everyone also needs to call the police and get a REAL investigation going. Maybe the police wouldn't do anything about one or two people but there's gotta be 25-30 people on this board alone. Just imagine how many people there are on other boards too. If everybody was to report it I'm sure they would do something about it. That's a lot of money. All of this stalker crap is getting sort of ridiculous. Let the police take care of it since they could really do something about it. Not just sit on a computer and post things on a forum hoping he'll come back.

I really do hope he comes back and works everything out. I was planning on ordering from him soon. He seemed like a good guy that was very knowledgeable but you gotta do what you gotta do. I hope everyone gets their money or parts and everything is squared away but I think they way it's being handled now is just stupid. Basically if you don't get your money or parts it's your own fault for not calling the police or atleast doing something more than talking about it on a forum.

honestly there isnt much you CANT find out on the internet.. especially for you americans, for a few bucks i can find out his damn credit score, and not even be him lol

i really hope this gets resolved becuase for a long time to follow anytime someone buys something from this site will no doubt make a "TDC Reference" .. not good for the whole community not just thoes directly affected.

I would buy right now if someone has a machined L32 LIM with the coolant ports blocked (Would do myself, but I am too busy) that they want to sell. This hasn't affected my opinions of any of the honest people on here that just want to trade parts and info with each other.

I just posted another message for TDC in my paypal dispute nicely asking for some communication and letting him know that tomorrow I'll be escalating this to a claim if I don't hear from him. It seems paypal prefers that you wait at least three days after opening the dispute before escalating to a claim. When you escalate to a claim the decision is solely with paypal so I figure it is a good idea to follow the three day suggestion they make.

Keep in mind that paypal reviews the messages you post during the dispute to help in deciding it. For what I've read from Googling paypal disputes, under the new system, disputes are pretty heavily weighted towards the buyer when there is no delivery of goods alleged. Supposedly the only way the seller can win is if he produces evidence that he shipped it (e.g. tracking number). So I'm not to worried about winning the dispute. I still worry about whether there is any money left to refund the amount. This is looking more and more like premeditated fraud, in which case I bet he cleaned out his account more than a week ago. I'll be interested to hear what happens when the paypal claims get decided and if there is any money to refund. If not, then we might start looking into legal action.

I did a quick calculation from the list posted of people waiting on cash and it looks like about 4 grand. I imagine there may be more lurking that haven't posted.

Any one who still thinks That this wasnt a scam is blind
I mean a week before he disapeared he was triing to sell me like $2500 in stuff and I hesitated because I had just bought My Trans so I already have $1800 out there in Triple edge perfs hands
I honestly dont know why any one will stand up and say that any one is over reacting to this... He is a criminal plain and simple. The phone and website being shut down and every thing else There is too much to not think its a scam...

Agreed. The super cheap Aeroforce guages was a dead give away. I dont care what connections you have, that price was unbelievable.

as an update, I paid via CC. I just called them and after a 4 minute conversation they credited me back the $185. it was so fast and easy. I just told them the situation and they gave me back my money no questions asked. I'm glad I didn't use pay pal because I don't have to wait. Finally something good has happened. Now it time to light a fire under will from overkill and get me a working PCM.

ive been readin gall of this stuff.. and im honestly suprised mini hasnt chimed in alot more since he was getting so much hassle and actually delivered the product.. ( i know he said a few comments but i thought it would be much more) and its absolutley a good thing im happy he didnt act immature and start ragging on tdc and the rest of the board that gave him a hard time... and to eveyone else best of luck it truely is a shame if this whole thing goes even further south

Yea, looks like this is a not looking so good. If people have not heard from him in over a week and hes not responding to anyone i would now encourage them to take action. I keep hoping he steps in and steps up. I hate to see him have to face the procussions of frauid charges. I know someone that got 5years fed time for the same thing.

Anyone that used a Credit Card or paypal pulled the money form a credit card or debit card i would just contact them. Paypal bascly has to do what they say and they are going to make you happy first. Even if there is no money in the paypal account your cc company will do you right. This will piss paypal off at you though

If you payed by Paypal fun balence you will need to file a paypal claim, wait and then hope there are funds left in the account. I personal have been sol on this before.

I know he had something going on with ZZP before and he had been good with the rest of his customers, so i never really got involved or cared too much until now.
