It's only running because that's what makes you feel good about yourself. How about the fact that I work 10-12 hours a day on bombers that defend this country? Maybe my free time is precious to me and what I do with that time is very important. If it became that I was unwelcome here, like I said no skin off my back. I can find other ways to occupy my time, since I obviously have no need to ask questions anymore. I also have another w-body forum which I frequent for more than just car knowledge that I have an obligation to.

My reasoning is if I'm not welcome I don't have to come. The difference now is I got off work and find a slew of e-maills and PMs... again. So obviously someone wants me here. I already apologized so for you that's either good enough or its not.

I'm not doing this to start an argument. I'm just curious and ask this in good humor. When I read that the image of this popped in my head and I honestly laughed out loud...

If you don't want something that will do it for you, why do you use a car at all? Why not just stand at the start line and run down the track?

But seriously, same concept... why do mods to make the car faster if you'd rather use skill and just launch better. Why have a fast car at all? It's still going to do things for you. Why have an auto tranny? It's just going to shift for you. Having a good handling car doesn't mean everything is easy. Just that if you're skilled enough then it has the performance to match your skill and won't lag behind what you're trying to do.

LOL. You were the one being a ***** and crying about being run off here by me. Remember? LOL, Oh the Drama!

Uh oh, he's kissing his own ass again, LOL. He gets PMs and e-mails, WOW...

Foot race? Hell i'm game! Why not? Never been challenged before, first time for everything. Whats the bet, a pair or Nikes? How about some socks?

Because some people prefer 1/4 mile. Personal preference, like said above

Why have a fast car at all? It's still going to do things for you.

    It won't blow me...

Why have an auto tranny? It's just going to shift for you.

I sure hope it does, otherwise we have a problem!

Guess you need to experiance the type of cars i'm talking about to know what I mean. Going in sharp curves with a Subaru bores me, much more entertaining in a 1972 Road Runner w/ no PS or PB and no predictabilty. Sorry, you style bores me, not going to change my mind about that. Its all in preference as was stated above. And I thought that was made clear. Guess not.

We can talking about this more if you'd like, I'm having fun with this thread personally. Thanks for the entertainment
